Principal's Message

Dear Ivanhoe School Families:

It is a great honor to serve as the principal of Ivanhoe Elementary School. At Ivanhoe Elementary School we are highly committed to student achievement, ensuring that all students learn, and promoting student safety. Every child has the potential to achieve and we are committed to providing multiple rigorous opportunities for learning. Our goal is to make life long independent learners of all students.

Located in a rural setting 15 minutes North East of Visalia, our school is part of the Visalia Unified School District.  At our school site, we have the added benefit of being surrounded by the natural scenery of snowcapped mountains and orange orchards. Students benefit from the academic rigor of a full elementary school curriculum based on the California State Standards. We offer extracurricular options such as a track team, yearbook, spelling bee, orchestra, and band all which perform or compete at district level competitions or performances. We also have Student Council elections which yield grade level representatives and school officers who run assemblies and a student government.

We highly encourage you to become involved in your child’s education by ensuring daily uninterrupted attendance at school, completion of nightly homework, and by attending one of our parent group meetings such as the School Site Council, Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) or the English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC). Come and be a part of the decision-making process and the teamwork required to improve the future of Ivanhoe Elementary School students.

Encourage your children to do their best at all times. Together we can make a difference in the lives of Ivanhoe Elementary School students that will lead to lifelong success! At Ivanhoe Elementary School we put students' needs first.

Feel free to call the school at (559) 730-7849 to learn how we can form a partnership to ensure student success during the 2024-2025 school year!

Sincerely,

Sandra Aguilera, Principal
